Think You Might Be Pregnant? Get Clear Answers with the SELFCHECK Urine Pregnancy Test (2 Tests)
Thinking you might be pregnant can bring a mix of emotions. Getting a clear and reliable answer quickly and privately is important. The SELFCHECK Urine Pregnancy Test, available with 2 tests per pack, is designed specifically for women in the UK who want a simple, accurate, and discreet way to find out.
Why Choose the SELFCHECK Pregnancy Test?
When you're considering a pregnancy test, you need to know you can trust the result and that the process is straightforward. Our SELFCHECK tests offer:
High Accuracy: With over 99% agreement with laboratory tests, you can be confident in the result when used correctly. Our tests detect human Chorionic Gonadotrophin (hCG) at a sensitivity of 25mIU/mL, the standard for reliable home pregnancy testing from the day of your missed period.
Early Detection: While most accurate from the first day of your missed period, understanding hCG levels means you can test with confidence at the right time for a clear result.
Easy to Use: The midstream test design makes the process simple and mess-free. Just follow the clear instructions provided in plain English.
Fast Results: Get your result in as little as 5 minutes, so you won't be left waiting anxiously.
Two Tests Included: Each pack contains two individual tests, giving you the option to re-test for confirmation or use at a later date if needed.
Discreet Delivery: We understand privacy is important. Your order will be dispatched in plain packaging.
Trusted British Brand: SELFCHECK has been providing reliable health checks in the UK for over 10 years, with tests assembled right here in the UK.
Simple Steps to Take the Test
Using the SELFCHECK Urine Pregnancy Test is straightforward:
1. Remove the test stick from its foil wrapper.
2. Take off the cap.
3. Hold the absorbent tip directly in your urine stream for a few seconds, ensuring it is thoroughly wet. Alternatively, collect a urine sample in a clean, dry container and dip the absorbent tip into the urine for the time specified in the instructions.
4. Replace the cap and lay the test stick flat.
5. Wait 5 minutes to read your result.
Understanding Your Results
Reading your result is simple with the clear test window:
Pregnant: Two red lines appear in the result window. Even a faint second line indicates a positive result.
Not Pregnant: One red line appears in the control window, and no line appears in the test window.
Important Considerations
- For the most accurate results, it's best to test from the first day of your missed period
- While highly accurate, it's important to follow the instructions precisely
- If you get a negative result but your period does not start and you still suspect you might be pregnant, wait a few days and test again with the second test
- Certain medications can affect the result; if you are taking any medication, consult your doctor or pharmacist
- If you have a positive result, you should consult your GP or a healthcare professional to discuss your next steps

Better to know
Better to know
We want you to be aware that no biomarker, even when checked by your hospital lab, is 100% perfect at diagnosing a specific medical condition. Because of this, a false positive result may cause unnecessary worry and further investigations, whilst a false negative result may give you peace of mind, when actually there may be an underlying condition that requires treatment. Rather than purchasing a self-test kit, you may wish to speak with your NHS GP first, who can arrange for tests if needed.
Make sure that you have considered what a result will mean to you before deciding to test. At SELFCHECK, you can also speak with our health check experts if you need help to use your test or interpret your results.
