Collection: SELFCHECK Digestive Health Checks

A range of simple health checks you can use at home to detect markers for coeliac disease (gluten sensitivity), bowel health (FIT screening) and stomach ulcers.

The gluten sensitivity test is a simple 15 minute blood-spot home test that detects anti-tissue transglutaminase immunoglobulin A antibodies (anti-tTG IgA) as a biomarker of coeliac disease.

The bowel health test is a 10 minute home test that detects hidden blood in a faecal sample as a biomarker for colon polyps and certain bowel diseases.

The stomach ulcer test is a 10 minute blood-spot home test that detects anti-H pylori antibodies as a biomarker for stomach ulcers.

Self-testing kits are meant as a preliminary screen, or for monitoring your health. Always speak with your doctor if you have symptoms of concern, or are anxious about your health, even if you get a negative test result.

Always seek advice from your doctor

Self-testing is a preliminary check of physiological biomarker levels only, and is not a substitute for a professional medical diagnosis. A positive or negative result does not definitively indicate the presence or absence of a medical condition and should always be followed up with a confirmatory test by a doctor or healthcare professional.

If you have symptoms of concern or are anxious about your health, do not rely solely on a self-test; consult your GP immediately.
