In 2025, we celebrated our 20 year anniversary of research, development and manufacture of medical diagnostics in North Wales, working with the NHS, pharmaceutical companies and universities to develop cutting-edge diagnostics for use in the hospital laboratory and intensive care unit.
We operate to a strict ethical code and emphasise that self-testing is a preliminary screening tool, not a diagnosis or replacement for professional medical advice.

Regulatory expertise
Our distribution division, 1st Health Products Ltd, is a UK Responsible Person (UKRP) for European medical device manufacturers, registering medical devices, and reporting directly to MHRA. Our Healthcare Professionals section on our website provides technical and regulatory information, written specifically for pharmacists and doctors for each of our products.
Needless to say, all our medical self-testing devices are CE certified and registered with MHRA specifically for self-testing.
